Hello!

I’m Maddie, founder of Story Bees and mum of two boys living locally in Burley-in-Wharfedale. 

Over the past 20 years, I’ve gained considerable experience of working with children and young people in a range of settings (including an 8 year stint as a primary school teacher). My passions lie within creativity, the arts and the beautiful natural environment where we live! I also love children’s books and am a great believer in the importance of sharing books with our babies from day one. Story Bees was created in 2018 to combine these loves… and I’ve never looked back! I hope to meet you at one of my classes soon to share a story or two.
